The Gift Shop is the major operating funds raiser for the Museum and features an eleclectic mix of merchandise, furniture, dishes, bric-a-brac, linens, jewelery, and memorabilia. In fact, if you have not visited us, stop by and see the greatest bargains in town.

Vintage or antique furnishings that just don't fit anymore? The Museum accepts consignment sales with exposure in our busy gift shop or front window display. Competitive commissions. call 510.523.5907 for information.

Estate Sales

Alameda Museum has conducted estate sales for many years. Whether you need to dispose of a home full of belongings or are downsizing for more suitable living style, call the Museum to help you and support a local worthy cause.

The Museum's dedicated crew of estate sale volunteers have expertise in specialized areas for researching and pricing sale items for optimal return. All items are individually priced, including furnishings, linens, jewelry, tools, books, garden, bric-a-brac, even salable food and cleaning products. Commission for the sales is negotiable, depending on the value of the contents.
